Iosif Andriasov: Musical Sketch, Op. 23A for Trumpet and Chamber Orchestra Music Score.

Iosif Andriasov composed the Musical Sketch for Clarinet and Chamber Orchestra in 1970. The composition was first performed by the musicians of the USSR All-State Radio and Television, under Maestro Gennady Cherkasov. Iosif Andriasov created a version, Musical Sketch for Trumpet and Chamber Orchestra, Opus 23A. 

The style of this piece is polystilistic. The composer unites various techniques and means, including tonal music, dodecaphony, aleatory, and micropolyphony. The initial motif of the Flute melody is connected with the main theme of Iosif Andriasov’s First Symphony. In his First Symphony, Mr. Andriasov reached a dissonant intonational content, which nearly drew him to compose in the twelve-tone system.
